Abstract

|
Purpose of this study is to know what is the welfare dependency and the factors affecting welfare dependency of self-sufficiency program. For this study target, This study analyzed data that is collected to cholla-bukdo area 18 self-sufficiency centers. This research defined welfare dependency`s operational conception that is attitude about work, cash benefits rate of family income. This study analyzed three multiple regressions to know what effect leading factors that influence in welfare dependency. As a result, Attitude about work regression model was significant effect that subjective health, public transfer, self-sufficiency program satisfaction, poverty status, life goal, self-respect. Also, Cash benefits rate of family income regression model was significant effect that family people`s economic activity, personal transfer, recognize of future. And, Self-support business participation period regression model was significant effect that sex, age, education level, public transfer, poverty status, self-respect. Finally, The factors affecting welfare dependency of self-sufficiency program participation is very complex. Truth to observe is that factor is exerting strong effect of self-sufficiency program participation` life purpose, self-respect, and expect of future image. Therefore, Government must execute various employment support policy to do it to anti-poverty and lower welfare dependency of participation participants. Also, Government must execute policy to do it to participation participants` work motive improve psycho-social support program.
